Stained Glass in Math Class

The eighth graders in Miss Bolvin’s classroom at China Middle School have been studying linear functions and how to graph them. To bring some color to the cold, long winter, students created stained glass windows. Eighth graders were asked to graph 18 linear functions while identifying the slope and the y-intercept of the line. They then traced their graph on tracing paper and colored their designs. This has been a fun way to allow students to express themselves in math class while also brightening up their learning environment! #WeAreRSU18 #ChinaClippers
