P.I.E. – Author’s Purpose
Eighth-grade ELA students in Miss Winkin’s class at China Middle School explored the concept of Author’s Purpose using the acronym P.I.E.—Persuade, Inform, and Entertain. Students were challenged to design posters that clearly defined each purpose and provided relevant examples. Afterward, each class voted for the most effective and creative posters, and the winning entries are featured here.
