Argumentative Writing + Branches of Government
Eighth graders gathered in the China Middle School library on March 22nd to read their persuasive essays on the positive and negative aspects of homework as well as arguing later school start times to Representative Katrina Smith. This activity combined argumentative writing in Mrs. Plamondon’s ELA class with learning about the three branches of government in Ms. Lanteigne’s social studies class. #WeAreRSU18 #ChinaClippers
