5/22/2020 Update from Principal Bowden
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Attached you will find the Zoom Classroom schedule for the week of May 25th. In addition, we have attached a document outlining updated requirements for honor roll, high honors, and Dean’s List for the 2019-2020 school year. All changes are highlighted in yellow. Please note that all students have the opportunity to complete missing or incomplete assignments from Quarter 3 by June 1st. Students should contact their teachers directly to inquire about makeup work.
The students’ last day of class is Friday, June 5th. Report cards will be mailed home.
8th Grade Promotion Night is on June 8th @ 6:30 pm, by ticketed invitation only. Families are asked to arrive in one vehicle. For two household families that will require a second vehicle, please notify Ms. Bowden by May 22nd ([email protected]). 8th grade students will be receiving their 4 tickets, masks and additional information in the mail by June 1st.
On Tuesday, June 9th, we will be having a drive-up Collection Day in the north end parking lot from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Laptops, laptop cases, chargers, library books, and textbooks will be collected. Student locker belongings, yearbook, medications and items of clothing will be bagged with each student name. These items will be available to pick up at the same time. We will also have a “lost and found” table set up for items that have not been identified.
If you have not purchased a yearbook yet, Ms. Armour ordered a limited amount of extra copies. Please call the main office, (207) 445-1500, to reserve a copy of the 2019-2020 yearbook! This is on a first come first-serve basis. The cost is $10.00.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 25th, Memorial Day. We hope you enjoy your long weekend!
