My Day Madness Project
How much of your day do you think you spend watching television, eating, doing homework? Do you spend 25% of your day in school? Maybe you spend 1% of your day doing homework?
Students in Mrs. Dugan’s 7th-grade math class found out! It may not be what you would expect. Students had to first choose a typical school day and write out all of the activities they do for 24 hours. They then had to round each activity to the nearest 15 minutes. Next, they had to calculate the fraction, decimal, percent and degree of each activity. Finally, they created a table and circle chart to show off their day.
