Flower Power Challenge at CMS
Recently at CMS, 7th and 8th-grade students were given a challenge – get the highest possible score in the MangaHigh game, Flower Power. This game combines ordering fractions, decimals, and percents along with time management and strategy.
While the game is extremely difficult, the students were up to the challenge! Over the course of the full week, they did extremely well, with the final winning score being over $4000!
As a connection to the STEAM day at CMS, the prizes were each 3D printed Infinity Cubes made in Mr. Schmidt’s classroom. From here, students will continue to do other challenges both online and in-person while using the 3D printer to improve their school and community!
