China Maine Craft Show

China Middle School 9am-2pm
Once again as part of the PTO sponsored China Maine Craft Show, we will be having Homeroom Basket Raffle.
This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year and funds raised from the raffle help fund extra resources and
activities for our school.
Every donation is appreciated! Themes have been assigned to classes and students are asked to bring in a new
item, gift card, or gift certificate based on their assigned theme. Collection will begin on Tuesday, October 2nd
and end no later than Friday, October 26th. Suggestions for items are listed next to the theme as a guideline
but all ideas are welcomed and appreciated. Boxes will be placed in each classroom for students to place donated
items.
Grade 5– Food/Restaurant Gift Cards/Certificates (Gifts Cards from your favorite restaurant or take out spot,
Visa Gift Cards)
Grade 6 and 7– Retail Therapy Gift Cards/Certificates (Gift Cards from your favorite place to shop- TJMaxx,
Wal-Mart, Olympia Sports, Amazon, Visa Gift Cards)
Grade 8– Service Gift Cards/Certificates (Gift Cards for Spa Services, Car Repairs/Oil Changes, Cleaning,
Visa Gift Cards)
Our next meeting of the year is this Thursday, 11/1/18, at 6pm in the CMS Library.
● PTO meetings will be the first Thursday of the month at 6pm, in the CMS Library, all year.

● For those parents who would like to attend the meetings, but are not able to physically be there, we are
going to try to go FB Live and allow virtual attendance. Just be aware that due to connectivity issues,
virtual attendees may miss some important information during the meetings. We will do the best we can
to stay connected!
